School Challenges
The school is currently facing a number of challenges which it hopes to overcome in the near future. Parents are trying their best but the pace at which development is taking place is rather slow due to various financial constraints.
- The school has inadequate furniture and would want to provide more desks and chairs
- The school has inadequate equipment for sciences and practical subjects. The school hopes to eventually acquire new science equipment and new machines for practical subjects. The school could do better with an A' Level science Laboratory. The school is exploring possibilities for this much needed laboratory.
- Textbooks; the school does not have enough textbooks and the pupil – textbook ratio is too large. Efforts are being made to procure more textbooks
- Computers: The school policy is to expose all pupils to computer lessons but does not have enough computers to realize this goal. There is a need to purchase more computers and to make use of the internet at school.
- School Library: The school has no library. The current library is too small for the school. The school needs to build a new library.
- School Hall: The school needs to build a school hall for the purpose of assemblies and other school functions.
- School Durawall: The present durawall leaves out the school playing fields and other areas earmarked for school expansion. The school would want a durawall that covers the entire school perimeter.
